one of my favorite January activites is upgrading the glasses perscription and the contacts. This year I'm wearing more glasses to stretch the disposable contact lenses.
When asked what they thought of my new glasses, Amy replied "you look like sara". which was fantastic since she was the inspiration for choosing these frames in the first place...
note the lovely shape and the blue sides ...but my favorite part is that they are stronger than my last pair and so now I can see stuff ;-)
sara-this post is dedicated to you--and I even took pictures of my face--just for you to see the lovely combo. i tried not to look freaky for the self portrait, but....don't think that came across very well. focus on the great new frames--inspired by your stripey ones that you were so uncertain about, but I told you repeatedly they were indeed cute and a good choice. see?
and...girls are both home sick today, so I'm working from home...ALSO an activity that reminds me of Sara! yes, I did take a shower this morning...but i think i may have deep conditioned a little much.
and now...i feel like singing..."sisters...sisters...there were never such devoted sisters...."
Birthday message for Zachary---not over the top brilliant, but we're thinking of him just the same...and can't believe that "the boy" is one year old! so sorry we couldn't have been at the birthday party to celebrate the milestone for him--AND the milestone of being parents of TWO for a year ;-)
